  • Brought in as a consultant by the newly installed CEO to stabilize the organization’s marketing function, build and repair foundational strategies, and set the brand up for top line growth at a time of extreme transition for the business.

    Worked closely with the CFO, COO and PE firm to set business and marketing goals, establish a reliable data ecosystem, and develop a roadmap strategy accordingly. On the brand side, I led audience research and brand repositioning, creative refresh, and a full website redesign. On the growth side, I lowered CAC by 54%, invested in retention marketing to increase LTV, launched a referral and affiliate program, implemented SEO, and rearchitected Heyday’s membership product. Grew the retail business to 34 shops nationwide.

    Not incidentally, repaired frayed franchise partner relationships through strategic visioning, executional excellence, and clear communication.

  • Led Verizon’s consumer engagement strategy and content creation engine in a new, transformation-oriented executive role designed to bring the brand closer to the cultural conversation. Oversaw all aspects of brand social creative strategy, content production and influencer/creator marketing, as well as Verizon’s strategic partnerships with platform partners at Meta, TikTok, Twitter, Snap, Reddit, and YouTube.

    Achieved 2x growth in reach and engagement within the first 12 months by adopting a new approach to content development that favored consumer-centric strategies and created production efficiencies to maximize ROI.

    Directed creative campaigns at high-profile live events such as Super Bowl, Oscars, Live Nation Festivals, and Global Citizen, and for Verizon’s highest profile product launches including myPlan.

Oversaw all digital marketing for North America including web experience, content, paid media, programmatic, sales enablement, marketing analytics, data systems and marketing operations to reach highly segmented audiences of business decision-makers.   • Led creative digital strategy for HBO’s key programming including Game of Thrones, Westworld, True Detective, and The Leftovers. Launched a series of award-winning consumer engagement campaigns that turned Game of Thrones into the biggest fan-powered TV franchise in history.
